I am the creator of this web 2.0 site, which came into existence right below the roof on the map. There are too many boring, unfunny, and uncontroversial implementations of Google Maps out there. come-bomb.com is different. It allows you to place virtual bombs around the world. When users first encounter Google Maps the first thing they do is to find their own house on the map. This is natural. It is like flying over your own house in an airplane. What is lacking from Google Maps is the ability to drop a bomb on your own house (or other places). This is the reason why www.come-bomb.com was created.

I am currently considering a peace-mode option, but that will have to wait a bit. Let the bombing begin.

Hans Island - 2008-03-03 23:39:30

Hans Ø is located in the Nares Strait between Grenland and Canada. The island is claimed by both Canada and Denmark, and since 1973 there has been some friendly dispute between the two countries over this small, uninhabited barren knoll measuring only 1.3 km². To solve this dispute I suggest that the Island is bombed. It shouldn't take that many bombs to sink it. Besides, when the ice has melted the island will only get in the way of ships going through the strait.

There is also a second reason. I happen to know that there is a dog named King on the island. That dog used to belong to me and a friend and it is a liability. With that dog on the island the conflict is bound to escalate.
